Roxburgh House care home Resident enjoys beloved burger treatBrenda, a Resident at HC-One’s Roxburgh House care home was delighted as she again requested to go to the local burger restaurant to enjoy her favourite meal.

Before arriving in the home, Brenda had never eaten a burger, and as soon as she made the decision to try one, she enjoyed it. Now she enjoys occasional visits to the local restaurant to enjoy her favourite burger, with staff at the restaurant recognising Brenda and making her feel welcome.

Brenda remarked that her favourite burger was one coupled with cheese and onions, and she enjoys visiting the local restaurant as she likes to meet the new and friendly people there.

Linda Wilkes, home manager, commented: “It’s wonderful for Brenda to go out and enjoy the treat she likes to have every now and then. This time, another Resident joined her as they decided to leave the home for the first time, and they enjoyed themselves together.”
