Seaside trip for Bishop Auckland care home ResidentsResidents from HC-One’s Eden House care home in Bishop Auckland enjoyed their first seaside trip of the New Year to Seaton Carew on Friday 3rd January. 

It was a bright sunny day as five Residents from Eden House boarded the minibus to visit Seaton Carew, everyone was wrapped up nice and warm as they enjoyed the fresh seaside air, with some watching the waves as others smiled at the dogs and horses running along the beach.

Everyone enjoyed a traditional seaside of lunch of fish and chips and shared their favourite memories of visiting the coast with their families. The trip has got everyone excited for the summer months where they can enjoy more beachside outings.

Eden House Home Manager, Emma Wade, said: “I am glad everyone enjoyed their visit to Seaton Carew, the fresh seaside air is good for the mind and the soul.”
