Seasonal celebrations at Bolton care homeThere was Christmas cheer for all to hear at Meadow Bank House care home in Bolton as Residents were joined by their loved ones for a fun-filled Christmas party.

The festivities kicked off with a 20 minute home cinema streaming of The Nativity story, as Residents discussed the tradition of why we give presents at Christmas.

All guests were given free raffle tickets, so that each person had a chance to win a prize.

The party was filled with exciting activities, including pass the parcel, group trivia, gingerbread man decorating and the opportunity to visit Santa’s grotto, where children were handed presents from the big man himself and his little helper.

Guests also tucked into a beautiful buffet filled with sweet and savoury seasonal snacks, including mince pies and mulled wine.

Residents thoroughly enjoyed their day, as Maureen commented: “Seeing the children meet Santa made my day, they were so excited to receive their presents.”
