Sheffield care home Residents enjoy magical visit to Brigg garden centre

Residents at Swallownest care home in Sheffield enjoyed a festive visit to Brigg Garden Centre to help them get into the Christmas spirit.

Colleagues Dawn and Carol accompanied Phyllis and Freda on their trip, as they admired the festive displays and even posed with the Christmas characters around the home. 

As they browsed the Christmas trees on display outside, Residents were even given the opportunity to have a go of the snow machine, which had everyone laughing and smiling. 

The visit was rounded off with a delicious carvery lunch, followed by jam and cream scones and a lovely pot of tea. 

Freda said: “I’ve had a wonderful day, thank you so much for bringing me.”
