Sherwood care home celebrates Valentine’s DayLove was in the air at Acacia care home in Sherwood, Nottingham as Residents and their loved ones celebrated Valentine’s Day.

The celebrations kicked off as talented singer, Jayne Darling, entertained Residents with a selection of all-time favourite love songs from the 1940s, 50s and 60s.

As they sang, danced and clapped along to the music, Residents tucked in to a delicious choice of Valentine’s Day themed food, including love heart sweets, strawberries and homemade cake.

Residents thoroughly enjoyed Valentine’s Day at Acacia, as they celebrated together and shared love stories.

One Resident commented: “The party was great. Fantastic cakes and even better company!”
