Sherwood care home supports Children in NeedResidents at Acacia care home in Sherwood were delighted to welcome students from EduCare Nursery for a fun-filled afternoon for Children in Need.

As part of the intergenerational activities, Residents helped children to colour in pictures of Pudsey Bear, as they designed his iconic bandana with a bright spectrum of shades.

Once the colouring in was complete, everyone enjoyed decorating biscuits with icing and loved eating the sweet treats later on with their refreshments.

One Resident commented: “It was lovely to see the children having fun, I really enjoyed helping them colour in and ice the biscuits.”
