Sing-along fun at Mountain Ash care home

Residents at Aberpennar care home in Miskin, Mountain Ash were delighted to welcome Dean, a vocalist, to the home to hold a sing-along afternoon.

Dean is a regular visitor at the home and continues to impress everyone with his wonderful voice. For this visit, everyone joined him as he hosted a sing-along afternoon for Residents and Relatives.

He sang a variety of songs favoured by the Residents, and encouraged everyone to get up to dance as they sang along together.

Afterwards, Residents enjoyed reminiscing about their favourite songs during their childhoods as they sat and laughed at fond memories together.

Alison Durbidge, home manager, commented: “The Residents have had a fantastic afternoon, everyone enjoyed singing and dancing to their favourite songs and we hope to welcome Dean back to the home again soon.”
