Skellingthorpe care home Residents visit local parkResidents, team members and canine companions from White Gables care home in Skellingthorpe enjoyed a visit to Hartsholme Park on Tuesday 28th January.

The group headed to the local park to walk Jazz and Ezzie, two of the home’s resident dogs and feed the ducks. Residents enjoyed watching the dogs playing and getting some fresh air, everyone took turns feeding the ducks and laughed at how quickly they were surrounded by wildlife eager to get a piece of bread.

Everyone warmed up with a hot chocolate and a toasted tea cake before heading back to White Gables, Jazz and Ezzie were ready for a nap when they returned from a fun-filled visit to Hartsholme Park.

One Resident commented: “What a lovely trip out, it was wonderful to get the dogs out and see so much wildlife.”
