Spennymoor care home Residents enjoy festive mealTeam members at HC-One’s Lothian House care home in Spennymoor surprised Residents with a Christmas meal at the Black Horse in Tudhoe on Tuesday 10th December.

The team wanted to treat Residents to a festive meal out, so they started fundraising in the local community and surprised twenty Residents on December 10th with a visit to the Black Horse.

Residents were delighted with the surprise meal, everyone shared Christmas crackers and donned the traditional Christmas hats as they tucked into a delicious three course seasonal lunch. Afterwards, Residents thanked the team for their kind Christmas gesture and shared their favourite memories and festive traditions.

Lothian House Home Manager, Jill Carr said: “I would like to thank my wonderful Colleagues for fundraising and organising such a special trip for our Residents.

“It has really got everyone in the festive spirit and counting down the days till Christmas at Lothian House.”
