Spooky fun at The Gables

Residents at HC-One’s The Gables care home were excited to enjoy a spooky evening of fun at a local Halloween event.

Everyone wore their best fancy dress costume as they enjoyed themselves taking part in a themed quiz, as well as an activity to carve the best pumpkin design.

Residents enjoyed bobbing for apples and shared laughs with one another, reminiscing of the days they did it as children.

Relatives also joined in the fun and excitement as everyone indulged in party food and refreshments.

Henry Mutambo, home manager, commented: “Everyone really enjoyed themselves this afternoon, we raised a wonderful £204.53 for our Residents’ comfort fund, and we are delighted with this result.”
