St Andrews care home Residents focus on fitness for 2020Residents at HC-One’s Balnacarron care home in St Andrews enjoy daily exercise classes and are starting off the New Year adding some new elements to their workouts.

Every day, Residents enjoy a seated exercise program which covers a variety of movements to stimulate the body and the mind. The exercises are enjoyed by all and Residents were keen to incorporate some new equipment and moves into their program.

One Resident, Margaret, was particularly fond of the new seating bicycle element of the routine and was lifting her knees as high as she could to get even more of a benefit from the movements.

Gemma Gordon, Balnacarron Home Manager said: “I am so pleased our Residents enjoy their exercises, an active lifestyle has such a positive impact on the physical and mental health of every person.”
