Stafford care home welcomes furry friend for ‘love your pet day’

Residents at HC-One’s Maple Court care home were delighted to take part in national ‘love your pet day’ as they welcomed a friendly Jack Russell puppy to the home.

The Residents and Colleagues were so pleased as the Relative’s pet joined them, with each of them enjoying a cuddle form the dog and playing with him and his many toys around the home.

Everyone was so overwhelmed by the visit, with one Resident remarking: “It was so beautiful to see the cute little puppy, it’s made my day today.”

Hayley Rix, home manager, also commented: “It was such an honour to see the Residents faces filled with such happiness, it’s always wonderful to see them all happy.”
