Stirling care home forms Men’s Shed groupGentlemen at HC-One’s Forthbank care home in Kildean are delighted to have formed their very own Men’s Shed group in February, which aims to bring older men in the local community together to form friendships and take part in activities.

The men at Forthbank have joined the Scottish Men’s Sheds Association’s, which supports Scotland’s Shedders to create Men’s Sheds in their community across Scotland. 

To celebrate the launch of their very own Men’s Shed group, the gentlemen at Forthbank were presented with personalised t-shirts, hats and membership badges from the Scottish Men’s Sheds Association. The Men’s Shed will also be open to gentlemen in the local community and Residents at other care homes.

Yvonne Graham, Home Manager at Forthbank said: “I am so pleased that our gentlemen are excited about the launch of the Men’s Shed, we can’t wait to see the group continue to grow.”
