Tameside care home Residents enjoy delicious afternoon teaResidents at The Beeches care home enjoyed a visit to the local school café for a tasty afternoon tea treat.

Staff at the home took a stroll down to Cromwell Café with the Residents, just a short walk from the home, to be greeted at the café with plenty of food for all to enjoy.
The afternoon tea spread was filled with a wide variety of sandwiches, cheese and jam scones, a selection of cakes and also unlimited tea and coffee.

Everyone had a lovely afternoon and the food went down really well. It was wonderful to see the Residents exchanging stories and reminiscing about where they came from. They were talking about the places they used to visit in the area and how much they had changed.

Residents then took home some of the leftover cakes to share with others upon returning back to the home. One of the Residents commented ‘I have really enjoyed myself this morning, nice food and good company.
