Uxbridge care home Residents enjoy visit to war centreResidents and some Colleagues at HC-One’s Cedar House care home were delighted as they made a trip to the new local attraction in Uxbridge – a war centre.

The free attraction was popular with all Residents as they found a variety of exhibits and displays, including the war uniforms and various pieces of armoury.

One Resident enjoyed sharing his knowledge of aircrafts as he read through the exhibits and looked at the various models on display. Each of the Residents enjoyed trying on pieces of uniform for themselves, as they compared them amongst one another.

The afternoon ended with everyone enjoying an afternoon tea in the café together, reflecting on all that they had seen.

One Resident enjoyed it so much, she remarked: “I had such a wonderful time, I would love to go back and see the displays again soon.”
