Valentine’s Day at Newton Aycliffe care home

To celebrate the day of love, Residents at HC-One’s Defoe Court care home in Newton Aycliffe were treated to a day of love themed activities and a romantic lunch.

Residents celebrated Valentine’s Day with their special someone with a romantic three course lunch and drinks, the food was served in the café which had been specially decorated for the occasion. 

Couples presented each other with cards and gifts after their meal and chatted about how they have celebrated Valentine’s Days together. Betty and Charles commented that it was lovely to spend some quality time together and make some more happy memories.

Defoe Court Home Manager, Sarah Todd said: “I am so pleased that everyone enjoyed their Valentine’s Day meal, love was all around at Defoe Court today.”
