Valentine’s Day celebrations at Grimsby care homeCelebrations were underway as Residents at Clarendon Hall care home in Grimsby enjoyed Valentine’s Day.

Residents enjoyed preparing for the day of love with an arts and crafts session, where everyone helped to create handmade love hearts to display around the home for Valentine’s Day.

Ahead of the home’s Valentine’s Day party, Residents also put on their chef’s hats for and aprons for a baking session, where they created a delicious heart-shaped cake, flavoured with chocolate, cherry and Baileys. Decorated with pink icing sugar, chocolate chips and edible roses, the dessert was certainly a mouth-watering addition to the party.

On Valentine’s Day, Residents were joined by talented singers Hayley and John, who entertained the audience with some classic love songs as everyone sang and danced along.

Residents were thrilled to see their decorations on the wall at the party, as Ann commented: “I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved!”
