Valentine’s Day dance at Wakefield care homeLove was in the air at HC-One’s Snapethorpe Hall care home, in Lupset, Wakefield as Residents, friends, family and staff celebrated Valentine’s Day with a themed afternoon tea dance on Friday 14th February.

The team transformed the lounge with love and heart themed decorations as Residents and guests gathered to watch local entertainer, Graeme Cox, perform classic love ballads. A delicious afternoon tea prepared by the home’s kitchen team was served and everyone enjoyed singing and dancing the afternoon away to their favourite songs.

A great time was had by all, with Residents commenting that it was lovely to celebrate Valentine’s Day as a community so that both everyone could enjoy the day whether they were with their special someone or not.

One Resident commented: “What a wonderful day, I enjoyed singing along with Graeme and chatting with our visitors.”
