Valentine’s Day celebrations at Dukinfield care homeLove was in the air at Yew Trees care home in Dukinfield, Tameside as Residents enjoyed a fun-filled party for Valentine’s Day. 

Residents enjoyed a performance from talented entertainer, Anthony Lye, as they sang, danced and clapped along to a number of all-time favourite love songs. 

Kitchen staff at Yew Trees prepared a delicious sweet treat for Residents to enjoy, as they sampled heart-shaped pancakes topped with chocolate spread, strawberries, raspberries and popping candy. 

In addition to the food and entertainment, Residents also got into the competitive spirit as they enjoyed Valentine’s Day themed puzzles and arts and crafts. 

One Resident commented: “I loved taking part in Valentine’s Day, the pancakes were delicious!”
