Wedding bells at Coalville care home

Love was in the air at The Rowans care home in Coalville, Leicester as Resident Pam Smith watched a live stream of her daughter’s wedding.

Pam was delighted to invite her friend and fellow Resident, Mary Bombrough, to join her in watching the ceremony as the pair put on their best fascinators for the day.

As Pam watched her daughter walk down the aisle and marry her husband, she was given a glass of fizz to help celebrate the special day.

There were smiles all around as Pam and Mary raised a glass to toast the happy couple. 

Kim Hubbard, Home Manager at The Rowans, said: “It was lovely to virtually transport Pam to her daughter’s wedding with a live stream right here at the home. Pam was delighted to celebrate the special day with her friend Mary and was smiling from ear to ear throughout the wedding!”
