Whitley Bay care home Residents celebrate ChristmasResidents and team members at HC-One’s Eastbourne House care home in Whitley Bay enjoyed a day full of joy and merriment as they celebrated Christmas.

On the big day itself, the Head Chef and kitchen team served up a Christmas Day feast for all to enjoy and Wellbeing Coordinator, James Leckie, dressed up as Santa and delivered presents to every Residents. 

Everyone also sat down to watch the Queen’s speech, a tradition that is never missed and always enjoyed. Residents commented that they had a wonderful Christmas Day and enjoyed celebrating together as a community.

Debbie White, Home Manager at Eastbourne House said: “Christmas evokes so many special memories for our Residents and we strive to make the day as special as possible. Eastbourne House is their home and the day should be as special as any other Christmas they have celebrated.”
