Young meets old at Cherry Willingham care homeWillow Court care home in Cherry Willingham, Lincoln was delighted to open its doors to the local community for an intergenerational activities session.

Children from the local nursery Cherry Cherubs visited the home for a fun-filled morning, as Residents chatted with and sang songs to the students.

There were smiles all around as Residents interacted with the children, working in teams to play board games together.

The morning was a great success for all involved, with intergenerational activities being a proven method for promoting wellbeing for both the older and younger generations.

One Resident commented: “The morning was fantastic, it was nice to see the children having fun.”
