Young meets old at Haven care homeResidents at HC-One’s Haven care home were delighted as they welcomed children from the local nursery to enjoy games and activities.

The children enjoyed playing alongside Residents ans they took part in parachute activities and sang various nursery songs together.

Everyone had a fun afternoon together as the Residents reminisced with one another about the things they used to do as children, the games and songs they loved the most.

The afternoon was complete with everyone sitting to enjoy a drink and a slice of home made cake and discussing their favourite activities of the day.

Daryl Winsor, home manager, commented: “today has been wonderful, it’s lovely to see our Residents interacting with the children, everyone has enjoyed taking part in the activities.”
