Young meets old for Puppet show at The CambridgeResidents at HC-One’s The Cambridge care home were delighted as they welcomed children from the local childminder, to the home.

The children attended the home to enjoy a puppet show alongside Residents, which was enjoyed by all as laughter was shared, and Residents told of their memories of watching similar shows as children themselves.

Residents and the children enjoyed playing various games and activities with balloons, getting into a friendly competition as they versed against one another jokingly.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselve, Residents remarked at how lovely it was to have the children in the home.

Sham Deonarine, home manager, commented: “It was wonderful to see the smiles on Residents’ faces. Especially as they interacted with the children, playing games together.”
