‘Stars in their Eyes’ event at Wigan care homeHC-One’s Westwood Lodge care home were delighted to host a ‘Stars in their Eyes’ charity night to raise money for a young boy in the local community.

The home decided to host the event in support of the young boy, Josh and his family as he was recently diagnosed with a brain tumour.

In support of the evening, Relatives, Colleagues and visitors of th ehome each dressed up as different singers, from ABBA members to Cher, the Spice Girls and Dolly Parton, as they took part in the event which raised a wonderful £300 for Josh and his family.

Residents remarked at how amazing the night was and that they truly enjoyed themselves, commending those who performed their acts on the night.

Home manager, Lorraine Young, commented: “I am so very proud of everyone in the home, we have pulled together to raise money for such an amazing cause and are glad to have supported Josh and his family.”
